We offer a complete domestic plumbing service for the Haute Vienne and surrounding departments, undertaking all minor and major works from a leaking tap or blocked drain to complete renovations and new builds. All the work we carry out conforms to the current French building regulations (Documents Techniques Unifies (DTU), CSTB: 60.1-64.1 Edition 2009).

 

We use a number of approved subcontractors for i) electrics (associated lighting alterations in bathrooms/kitchens, water heater connections, power supply and earth testing for newly plumbed applicances, ii) tiling (high spec wall and floor finishes), iii) plastering/plaster boarding (partitioning rooms and redecorating after plumbing work), and iv) carpentry (bespoke and fitted kitchens).

 

We also offer two additional services as follows:-

 

24 hour Emergency call out service

We can provide assistance in the event of an emergency, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact us on either the land line or mobile listed in the ‘contact us’ section above.

 

We make a fixed charge of 75 euros for this service provided that the property is located within 50km of the office. Similarly to the UK, this charge includes the first hours work. We are happy to travel further than this, but there will be an additional charge.      

 

Although we can’t guarantee to solve the problem during the initial call out, we carry a lot of stock on the company van and this together with the information you give us when you call should be sufficient to make a temporary repair, as a minimum. We can then arrange, where necessary, to return to make it permanent

 

Winterising service for holiday homes

Given the age and neglected state of some of the plumbing in French properties, together with a general lack of insulation, freezing cold winters and long periods of vacancy, holiday homes can suffer from a catalogue of leaks, air locks, stiff valves, cold water and more if unmaintained between seasons.

 

We offer a winterising service that resolves this problem. Essentially, once you or the last of your clients has gone home for the winter we’ll go in and drain the system down. Therefore no matter how Siberian the ensuing winter is, there won’t be any problems. Subsequently, if you let us know when the first party is due out in the following year we’ll go in again, re-fill and service the system ready for use.

 

The cost of  this service is naturally dependent on the size and nature of the property. We will be happy to provide a devis on request.
